As a follow up from my previous article on “The Origins of Psychiatry” I have the urged to continue to write about the dangers of this very dangerous pseudo-science we otherwise know as Psychiatry. Where the core of the danger lies is of course on the mass production, and consequently the mass drugging people all around the world, all on the premise that there are “diseases” which stem from a biological disbalance, from which there is absolutely no evidence of. Lately and in recent history, we have been hearing about “psychos” who go on a rampage to shoot people in movie theatres, schools, shopping malls and in broad daylight. We see scalating shooting and scalating reports of deadly incidents. The problem is that there exist a huge industry in making sure that the public are convinced that the “experts” who are otherwise known as Psychiatrist come up with labels to a number of invented diseases that continue to pile up in newer and newer releases of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (DSM) which right is about to release its fifth volume, the DSM V. As discussed in my previous article, there are diseases in the DSM to label just about anyone with any kind of behaviour to be counted as someone who is classified with a mental disorder and therefore absolutely eligible for drugging. The problem is that drugs are being pushed into the market and that is because a lot of people who sit in the Federal and Drugs Administration (FDA) committee have ties with the industries which are applying for certification. Because of this obvious conflict of interest and because the FDA also receives a portion of the sales with a 1,000,000 million dollars for the cost of an application for a drug. Testing and trials for these drugs are being rush and made advertised in academic journals that are published by the American Psychological Association (APA). As a result we have hundreds of drugs like Paxil, Prozac, Luvox and Zolof.
Interestingly enough, when I looked into the shootings, some of them mass shootings:
Shooting in Toulouse, France, March 2012: This year saw the start of several cases of “madmen” who for one reason or another took on shooting a mass or a number of people. This was the cue with 23-year-old Mohamed Merah, whose shooting rampage killed seven people. The end of his life came as he jumped from his apartment window following a police siege and shared rounds of shootings from both sides. Sources also tell that Merah was also heavily medicated with psychotropics, most specifically with LSD. Of course, we know that LSD was a creation of the U.S. military in order to create mind altering states.
Shootings in Oslo, Norway, July 2011: The lone extremist Anders Behring Breivik singled handily massacred 77 people, as he despised muslim people. Recently a court in Oslo deemed Behring a sane man and sentenced to lifetime without the chance for parole. If you review the wikipedia entry for Anders, you will see a long history of psychiatric intervention from earlier on his adulthood, all the way until now during his recent evaluations. In article by the Fix.com the lawyer of Anders stated that “some kind of drugs before the killing.”
I’m not surpised. Drugs are mixed up one way or another in nearly every mass homicide of the last twenty years. – Christopher M. Byron, author of Mind Drugs, Inc.: How Big Pharma and Modern Psychiatry Have Corrupted Washington and Destroyed Mental Health in America
Dismemberment in Montreal, June 2012: The dismemberment of 33-year old Lin Jun by the Luka Rocco Magnotta brought waves of shrivers across Canada with the macabre details of the event. Details came out from Magnotta’s record that in 2005, he was convicted on three account of fraud where he served 16 days in pretrial custody and 12 months probation where he also needed to comply to a number of conditions such as being forced to be inserted into a treat, meant program for mental health issues and life skills as directed to take all prescribed medication.
Shooting in Columbine High School, Littleton, Colorado, April 1999: This now famous massacre which inspired the famous documentary by Michael Moore Oscar Winner “Bowling for Columbine” where Mr. Moore blame the freely usage of firearms in the United States, featured this incident as the example for the massacre which shocked the world. Of course, this massacre is widely overshadowed by the increasing number of incidents of recent history. The story states with two senior students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold who embarked on 12-death shooting spree, with 21 injured. Of course, all over the media, we heard of all kinds of reasons why it happened, from video games, to television, to firearms, to even heavy metal rock. What is now widely know is that the senior students were heavily medicated with the antidepressant Luvox, Paxil and Zoloft which they were encourage to leave. Drugs like Luvox, Paxil and Zoloft are in a class of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), which account to produce side effects like: anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia [severe restlessness], hypomania [abnormal excitement] and mania [psychosis characterized by exalted feelings, delusions of grandeur and overproduction of ideas] have been reported in adult and pediatric patients being treated with antidepressants as reported by a Public Health Advisory in 2004.
Shooting at the Empire State building, New York, United States, August 2012: The morning of August 25 saw the shooting of Steve Ercolino in broad daylight as Jeffrey Johnson, a T-shirt designer ambushed him outside of the famed Empire State building. It is now known at Johnson was using a SSRI antidepressant he took following his months of depression due to being laid off months before.
Shootings at the screening of the movie The Dark Knight Rises, Aurora, Colorado, July 2012: The shooting that shook the world during the released of the latest instalment of the Batman series with the famed shooter James Egan Holmes is perhaps the best example of how psychotropic drugs are directly related with the increased instances of shooting in recent times. It is now widely known that James was seeing a psychiatrist who prescribed him a psychotic drug and this being prior to the shootings. This is very well detailed in several mainstream article including one by the Newsmax.com: “Colorado Shooting Suspect Was Under Care of Threat-Assessment Psychiatrist.” Interestingly enough James was also a Ph.D student working in the neuroscience at the University of Colorado for the Medical Campus in Aurora. In June 2012, James received a grant for his research, which he declined for no perceivable reason and also at the same time his school scores declined which put him in the process of being on the way to withdraw from the university. Other lessen known cases of psychotropic drugs induced incidents include: Dekalb, Illinois – February 14, 2008: 27-year-old Steven Kazmierczak shot and killed five people and wounded 16 others before killing himself in a Northern Illinois University auditorium. According to his girlfriend, he had recently been taking Prozac, Xanax and Ambien. Toxicology results showed that he still had trace amount of Xanax in his system. Omaha, Nebraska – December 5, 2007: 19-year-old Robert Hawkins killed eight people and wounded five before committing suicide in an Omaha mall. Hawkins’ friend told CNN that the gunman was on antidepressants, and autopsy results confirmed he was under the influence of the “anti-anxiety” drug Valium. Jokela, Finland – November 7, 2007: 18-year-old Finnish gunman Pekka-Eric Auvinen had been taking antidepressants before he killed eight people and wounded a dozen more at Jokela High School in southern Finland, then committed suicide. Cleveland, Ohio – October 10, 2007: 14-year-old Asa Coon stormed through his school with a gun in each hand, shooting and wounding four before taking his own life. Court records show Coon had been placed on the antidepressant Trazodone. Blacksburg, Virginia – April 16, 2007: 23-year-old Seung Hui Cho shot to death 32 students and faculty of Virginia Tech, wounding 17 more, and then killing himself. He had received prior mental health treatment, however his mental health records remained sealed. The rampant numbers on suicide around of the world, if you look at some of the cases, you will see that the majority of those peoples including movie stars like Witney Huston, Keith Ledger, Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, INXS’ Michael Hutchence, Brittany Murphy, Michael Jackson etc etc whom in one way or another have something to do with a level of medication. I am also going to give a breakdown of their cases.
Whitney Huston, died February 2012: We all know the details of her fame and life, though intiatally the results of her death were not known exam results of toxicology show traces in her system of: Benadryl, Xanax, marijuna and Flexiril and despite of this, the cause of her death was listed as “accident.”
Keith Ledger, died January 2008: Keith was most famed and remember recently because of the Aurora, Colorado shooting and because of the recent Batman movie, as he portrayed “The Joker” in The Dark Knight (2008). Keith was found unconscious in his bed . Toxicology reports show signs of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temezepam, alprazolam and doxylamine. The cause of his death is listed as “accident” and as abused of prescription medication. In addition, Keith was also known to have symptoms of insomnia, anxiety, depression and different cold symptoms.
Kurt Cobain, died April, 1994: On April 8, 1994 Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of the famous band Nirvana, was found dead in Lake Washington. Kurt was reported to be suffering of manic depressive disorder or otherwise known as bipolar disorder, one of the most famous psychotropics used for this “disease” is Lithium, in fact “Lithium” is the name of one of his most famous songs. In addition to bipolar, Kurt was also diagnosed with ADD for which prescription usually comes in the form of drugs like Prozac.
Brittany Murphy, died December 2009: Famous actress Britany Murphy’s toxicology report shows a number of prescription drugs in his bloodstream. In fact, police found a number of powerful prescription drugs in her bedroom like Topamax (anti-seizure medication also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression), Klonopin (anxiety), Carbamazepine (treats diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar medication), Ativan (anxiety), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain) and various vitamins. I have not covered Michael Hutchence and Michael Jackson, but I think you get a sense of the point I was making with the connection of prescribed psychotropics, psychiatry and different deaths, suicide and shootings. Make yourself aware of what’s happening and become aware of this because your loved ones may be prescribed with psychotropic drugs and at many times, it could lead to very deadly conclusions, if anything it would transform them for the worse. These drugs do not offer any real cure, the world is already very harsh and there are many reasons and ways people get sucked into with the economy, lay offs and wars. To include and allow a pseudo-science like psychiatry to go rampant needs to be absolutely stopped.
